The location of the property was fantastic, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. It was really peaceful and secluded, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lodge itself was spacious and well-equipped, with everything I needed for my stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of milk, juice, and water in the fridge, and the tea and coffee on the worktop. It made me feel instantly at home. having my own secure garden was a real bonus, as it allowed my dogs to have some freedom without me worrying about them running off.
There were a few minor issues with the property that could be improved. The furnishings were a bit dated and could do with updating to make it feel more modern.

The cottage was clean and ready for us even though we arrived early. We had all the essentials provided in the honesty shed, so we didn't need to worry about running out of supplies. It was nice to have our own space and privacy, without the need to check in or meet the hosts.
The furniture in the cottage was worn and outdated, and the overall decor was not appealing. The cottage had a damp smell and seemed to have a pet odor.

We had a fantastic stay at Hunston Mill. Although we were only there for one night, we wished we could have stayed longer. The cottages were cozy and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and breathtaking views. The on-site 24-hour shop was convenient for supplies, and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The free WiFi was a bonus, especially for the kids. Plus, being a dog-friendly setup made our stay even more enjoyable.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The cottages at Hunston Mill are perfect for a dog-friendly getaway. the small apartment at the base of the windmill was quirky and had a dishwasher. the private entrance was convenient and the place was spotlessly clean. the keys were left in the door for easy access. the area is lovely and there are lots of cottages to choose from.
Felt very relaxed, no complaints whatsoever.

A really enjoyable stay and very dog friendly
We had such a lovely time at Hunston Mill Self Catering Dog Friendly villa. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location was beautiful, with a convenient setting for exploring the surrounding area, including Chichester. One thing that really stood out was the dog sitting service they offered. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated, as it allowed us to attend our daughter's graduation without worrying about our two dogs. They even gave us plenty of recommendations for dog-friendly walks, which was a real bonus. our stay was truly enjoyable and relaxing.

The location of the cottage is easily accessible from the road, making it convenient for business travelers. the cottages are also situated in a peaceful area, ideal for relaxing after a long day of work. the clean sheets and comfortable mattresses provide a good night's sleep.
The interior of the cottage could use some improvement, as it has a musty smell and dated furnishings. there were issues with heating and hot water, which were not promptly addressed by the vendor.

The accommodation was comfortable and cosy, perfect for spending time with family during Christmas. the holiday cottage had a nice festive touch with a wreath on the door and a small decorated tree inside. - the kitchen was well-equipped and provided everything we needed for cooking.
The wifi was non-existent, making it difficult to stay connected during our stay. The busy road nearby didn't have walkways for pedestrians, limiting our options for walking in the immediate area.

great dog friendly quirky property in lovely countryside surroundings! loved the grounds/gardens and the doggy paddock! owners also have 6 labradoodle dogs who are very friendly and the black one called Jack came to sit with us for our breakfast outside our cottage. we stayed in the downstairs of the old windmill and had a little covered porch to sit in outside.bed was very comfy with crisp white sheets and the cottage was very clean. owners Thelma and Mike were very friendly and welcoming as were the other staff wondering around doing chores. great place to stay for the beach at West Wittering and Chichester town and the marina. spoke also to other guests who were on their 3rd visit and had stayed in different cottages each time. we would definitely visit again as felt very relaxed and chilled out!
wifi was non existent in the old mill
